Poetry is a safe space

of a dialogue with yourself

and others out there

as an imaginary audience.

The place where the silence

is a loud verbal scream

on an white endless surface.

The one-way street

of a river of thoughts

you train your audience

in a stream to swim

skilfully avoid drowning.

Where a doubt is a metaphor

a boat to carry the sensible

on the other side of

this mental construction.

To the distant island

of understanding

and meaning like

a hidden spot of

the pirate treasure

more lost than found

in a game of dialogue

like a scavenger hunt.
